AMENDMENT TO AWHO MASTER BROCHURE JUL 1987 21-01-2011
1. Para 11 of AWHO Master Brochure with regards to eligibility has since been amended as below. An addl Para Para 11A has also been inserted.
Para 11. The organisation will give only one dwelling unit / plot to an eligible registrant. Any person who has been allotted a DU/Plot by AWHO earlier in any Scheme however will be eligible to apply for a DU/Plot in any new scheme after having disposed off his initially allotted DU and after a lapse of 10 years from the date of possession of his initial DU.
Para 11A An additional dwelling unit may however be given to an allottee, at the discretion of AWHO, if the dwelling units in any of the AWHO schemes are surplus and provided he is also otherwise eligible. This allotment of a surplus DU/plot will be done only in a station other than at which the allottee has already been allotted a DU/plot.
2. The above Rule will be effective from 01 Feb 2011 and AWHO will accept applications with DD date on or after 01 Feb 2011.

Change of Rule 01-08-2010
"Any person who has been allotted a DU/plot by AWHO earlier in any scheme is not eligible to apply for a DU/Plot in any new scheme,even though he may have disposed off the previous DU/plot allotted by AWHO,and presently may not own any DU/plot allotted by AWHO. An additional dwelling unit may however be given to an allottee, at the discretion of AWHO, if the dwelling units in any of the AWHO schemes are surplus and provided he is also otherwise eligible"

"The above change of Rule is not applicable to Second time registrants who have applied prior to 16 May 2008 and their registration has been accepted by AWHO. They will be elgible for allotment of DU in any of the projects of AWHO, as per their seniority".
